Immaculate Conception – Celebrated Monday, December 9, 2019

This year December 8 will be celebrated as the Second Sunday of Advent, we will follow our regular Sunday Mass schedule. The 5:00 PM Mass will be followed by a Healing Service celebrated by Padre Martin Scott. Father Martin (formerly Fr. Richard Scott of the Archdiocese of Washington) is the Founder of the Servants of Divine Mercy “Siervos de la Divina Misericordia” Lima Peru. All are invited.

Monday December 9 is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year, however, we will celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary with Mass in Church at 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Prayer on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception

Father,
The image of the Virgin is found in your Church.
Mary had a faith that your Spirit prepared and a love that
never knew sin,
for you kept her sinless from the first moment of
her conception.
Trace in our actions the lines of her love,
in our hearts her readiness of faith.
Prepare once again a world for your Son who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
