The Easter Season continues to Pentecost Sunday, May 19, 2024
The Easter Seasoncelebrates Christ’s resurrection from the dead, his victory over death. Christ’s Ascension into heaven is celebrated on the 7th Sunday after Easter, this year May 12. Also referred to as Eastertide, the Easter season is the period of 50 days, spanning from Easter Sunday to Pentecost Sunday, where Jesus sends the Holy Spirit upon the apostles to spread the Gospel to all nations. This year the Easter Season is March 31 through May 19, 2024. All Liturgies will be in the Church.
