Food Drive for Damascus HELP - Saint Paul continues to collect nonperishable food, please drop off donations in the Church Narthex. Saint Paul Knights of Columbus Council 11105 deliver the food to Damascus HELP weekly. To learn more about Damascus Help visit https://damascushelp.org/
Lenten Food Drive - Grocery bags are available in the Narthex. The first week of Lent we collected for the John S Mulholland Family Food Foundation, they work to ensure food pantries in DC can provide food assistance. The remaining weeks of Lent we will collect for local families served by Damascus Help, return bags to the Narthex through March 30. Please check expiration dates, expired food cannot be distributed. Suggested items: flour, sugar, pasta, rice, spaghetti sauce, baked beans, canned fruits/vegetables, peanut butter, jelly, baby food, powdered milk, soup, boxed macaroni & cheese, and laundry detergent. Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl - Giving change to CRS during Lent changes lives. Catholic families across the country unite to put their faith into action through prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Through CRS Rice Bowl, families learn about how our sisters and brothers across the globe overcome hardships like hunger and climate change, and how through Lenten alms, we have the power to make the world a better place for all. Clothing Collection Box - You can help the St. Vincent de Paul Society by placing gently used clothes and shoes inside the clothing collection box in the rectory parking lot. Those in need can call St. Vincent de Paul Society - Saint Paul Conference at 301-744-0384 and leave a message, one of our members will return your call.
Please remember senior and shut-in neighbors could use your help - Offer to bring in their mail or pick up items from the grocery store. Let's help keep our seniors and shut-ins safe.
