Prayer for All Saints Day Dear God, thank you for the example of the Saints. I desire to join in their company, worshiping you forever in Heaven. Please help me follow their footsteps, and yours, Jesus Christ. Please help me to conform myself to Your image, seeking Your will in all things, as the Saints did. Please help me to devote myself, and all that I do, to Your glory, and to the service of my neighbors.
Amen

We remember and pray for all those who have died. We do not know for certain what happens after death, but we live in hope of eternal union with our loving God, who initiates a relationship with us at our birth and continually invites us to respond. How we respond to God in our lifetime will determine if our life beyond death will be in union with God or separate from God. Thus, we believe that our love relationship with God endures for all eternity, with God always ready to welcome and embrace us. We also believe that death does not separate the living from those who have died. Just as we ask each other for prayers during our lifetime, we continue that practice even beyond death.
Prayer for All Souls Day Lord God, you are the glory of believers and the life of the just. Your son redeemed us by dying and rising to life again. Since our departed brothers and sisters believed in the mystery of our resurrection, let them share the joys and blessings of the life to come.
Amen
