Feast of the Exaltation
of the Holy Cross

Join us in Church at 7:30 PM for an evening of prayer and adoration asking God for faith in a time of distress and pain.

Over the past month our local Church here in Washington and in many places in our country have been hit by scandal of such magnitude that many people are in spiritual doubt and emotional turmoil.
 
We want to invite you to join in prayer and give the Lord our own voices as a community of faith. We want to ask God to heal hearts wounded and even crushed by these events.
 
We come and ask him to allow His grace to give us the courage to minister to all victims of predatory abuse. We come with prayer seeking mercy, when judgment dominates our perceptions of events. We come seeking wisdom for those who must make decisions for the good of all God’s people. We come with the simple prayer of the human spirit when confronted with human weakness. We ask to be delivered from evil.

By His Holy Cross He has redeemed the world!
