New Year's Day, January 1, 2021
January 1 is The Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God, a Holy Day of Obligation. We close out the Christmas octave, the eight days following the birth of Christ, with a day honoring Mary as the Mother of God. There will be Mass at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Masses will be held in Church, no sign up is needed to attend.
Every year on January 1, the Holy Father marks the World Day of Peace with a special message inviting all people to reflect on the important work of building peace. For more information from USCCB, Click here.
Our lives are made of days and nights, of seasons and years,
for we are part of a universe of suns and moons and planets.
We mark ends and we make beginnings and, in all, we
praise God for the grace and mercy that fill our days.
Glory to God in the highest and peace to his people on earth!
On behalf of the clergy and staff of Saint Paul, we wish you and your loved ones God's peace and abundant blessings in the New Year and always!
