The Easter season celebrates Christ’s resurrection from the dead, his victory over death. Christ’s Ascension into heaven is celebrated on the 7th Sunday after Easter, this year May 29. Also referred to as Eastertide, the Easter season is the period of 50 days, spanning from Easter Sunday to Pentecost Sunday, where Jesus sends the Holy Spirit upon the apostles to spread the Gospel to all nations. This year the Easter Season is April 17 through June 5, 2022. All Liturgies will be in the Church.
